According to Elden Ring, Auriza Side Tomb is inhabited by Living Jars enemies who are searching for fresh corpses to fill their bodies. It doesn't come as a surprise since the Great Warrior Alexander can be seen collecting bodies from Radhan’s battleground after the general’s defeat.
Auriza Side Tomb is a catacomb filled with many crucial upgrade materials like Ghost and Grave Gloveworts, as well as useful Elden Ring Crafting Materials like Cracked and Ritual Pots. The only way to complete this tomb is by triggering mist traps, which transport players to different areas within the catacomb.
How To Get To The Auriza Side Tomb In Elden Ring
Auriza Side Tomb is situated southeast of the Outer Wall Battleground bonfire, east-most of the Capital Outskirts, Altus Plateau in Elden Ring.
To reach it, travel to the Outer Wall Battleground Site of Lost Grace in the Capital Outskirts, then head east and climb the broken stairs.
Run through the Skeleton enemies, until players reach two routes; one east, whereas the other goes southeast. Take the latter and descend the slope to reach an open area filled with Crabs and Dragonflies.
Keep going southeast and climb the large slope to find a small building and two small Bears walking around a glowing stone statue.
Advance to the statue, then turn northeast and run to the cliff. Be careful, as there’s a Lesser Runebear hiding between the trees, trying to ambush the players. Upon reaching the cliff, turn left to find the door of Auriza Side Tomb.
Auriza Side Tomb Walkthrough In Elden Ring
As mentioned before, Auriza Side Tomb can be tricky as it’s filled with explosive jars and mist traps. After activating the first Site of Lost grace, players will face a closed door that can only open by a certain mechanic.
From there, turn right and enter a room that has a giant square column and small jars running around. Circle the column and head northeast into the entrance to find an empty room that has a chest. Open it to activate the trap.
Next, venture forth to a room filled with two Fanged Imps. Defeat them, then turn left and walk straight to the next room, which has a chest at its end. Ignore the chest and roll through the illusionary wall on the left, but be careful of the explosive jars in the hidden room. Open the chest inside to get teleported to a second-floor platform.
Jump down and open the chest on the aisle to trigger yet another trap.
This time, players are transported to a watery area that has a ladder on its right. Climb it and pull the lever to activate the locked door at the beginning of the Elden Ring catacomb.
After that, leap down, climb the stairs, and open a chest that’ll take players to the first area.
Upon arriving, advance forward to the room filled with small jars then walk up the stairs and turn right to enter the Grave Warden Duelist boss room.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
