Elden Ring players already know that two popular characters, Malenia and Miquella, are connected because they're twin Empyreans, special beings in the game's universe that have the potential to become gods. But Redditor -Zhaeus saw a finer detail in Malenia's armor that further emphasizes their bond: the swirling decorative designs on Malenia's winged helmet are based on Miquella's braided golden hair, a clear tribute to her protective twin brother.

Players are most familiar with Malenia as a popular Elden Ring boss that went viral after legendary player Let Me Solo Her took her down multiple times with no armor, and also helped other stuck and frustrated players defeat her. As the proclaimed hardest boss in the game, players have devoted tons of hours to finding different, exciting, and sometimes hilarious ways to beat her.

Miquella, on the other hand, is currently relegated to being a background character in the core game, kidnapped by his half-brother Mohg and currently trapped in a type of cocoon.
