While the Lands Between appears to be governed by the Greater Will, Elden Ring players can discover the influence of the outer gods throughout the gameplay. Right from the start, players can head east to reach Caelid and witness the aftermath of the Goddess of Rot, whose power is rotting away from what was expected to be a lush mix of forest and swamps. Similarly, players can uncover another outer god hidden deep beneath the sewers of Leyndell, known as Frenzied Flame.

In Elden Ring, players have the ability to wield the power of certain outer gods, such as Frenzied Flame, and even unlock special alternate endings for a few of them. Among all the outer gods, Frenzied Flame preaches chaos above all and possesses a deadly class of incantations. These spells prove immensely powerful in both PVE and, especially, PVP due to the Madness status build-up, which can stun other players and drain their mana. Here’s a guide on how to find every Frenzied Flame incantation in Elden Ring to help you become the true Lord of Chaos.

The Flame of Frenzy in Callu Baptismal Church of Ailing Village

The Flame of Frenzy is the first Frenzied Flame incantation that players can obtain in Elden Ring. In the center of Weeping Peninsula, players can discover a small village called Ailing Village, occupied by maddened villagers with the burning eyes of Frenzied Flame. Head to the southern part of Ailing Village to find the Callu Baptismal Church, which contains a Sacred Tear and The Flame of Frenzy incantation.

To reach the Callu Baptismal, begin heading southeast from The First Step site of grace to reach the Bridge of Sacrifice and enter the Weeping Peninsula. From there, head south to reach the Castle Morne Rampart site of grace, and then go up the hill on the west to reach Ailing Village and the Callu Baptismal Church.

Frenzied Burst in east side of Frenzied Flame Village

Similar to Ailing Village, players can discover another village with maddened villagers in East Liurnia - Frenzied Flame Village. On the hill located on the east side of the village, players can find a scarab containing the Frenzied Burst incantation. This is another location where players can witness the influence of Frenzied Flame and how it affects the creatures. If players continue further to the east, they will be invaded by Vyke, who possesses the best weapon for a Frenzied Flame build - Vyke’s War Spear.

To reach Frenzied Flame Village, teleport to the Grand Lift of Dectus site of grace and exit through the entrance. Then, start running up the hill to the south. Be cautious of the Frenzy-Flaming Tower and the madness-inflicting rats along the way. While the tower is burning, take cover behind a rock or tree and continue heading up as soon as the flame turns off. Repeat this process until you reach Frenzied Flame Village! While there, activate the Frenzied Flame Village Outskirts site of grace, as you will need to return for the third Frenzied Flame incantation.

Howl of Shabriri in the Frenzy-Flaming Tower north of Frenzied Flame Village

In the Frenzy-Flaming Tower, players can find the Howl of Shabriri incantation, one of the best body buffs, locked inside a chest. However, reaching this chest is no easy task. Approaching the Frenzy-Flaming Tower is a challenge on its own, especially for first-timers who have no idea how to turn off the Frenzy Fireball on the tower’s top.

The Frenzy Fireball will build up the Madness status effect on any player in its field of view. This flame turns on and off every few seconds. While it's off, players will need to quickly progress towards the tower and then tuck in behind ridges as soon as the Frenzy flame starts burning. Alternatively, players can use the spiritspring jump under the cliff with the Frenzy-Flaming Tower for quick access to the tower.

At the bottom of the Frenzy-Flaming tower, players will have to face a group of maddened rats. Climb to the top of the ladder to find the chest with the Howl of Shabriri spell. To turn off the Frenzy flame, players will need to kill the group of Frenzied Villagers on top of the tower.

Inescapable Frenzy in the hidden area of Subterranean Shunning Grounds

After defeating Mohg, the Omen in the Forsaken Depths of Subterranean Shunning Grounds, players can unlock a hidden area by hitting the shrine at the end of the boss room. Explore this hidden area and descend using the coffin slabs to find the Inescapable Frenzy incantation hanging on a corpse.

Out of all Frenzied Flame spells, Inescapable Frenzy is the most challenging one to obtain, as players have to parkour through a series of slabs, and a wrong jump will lead to death. On the positive side, this spell is mostly useless in PVE unless players want to exploit and torment Tarnished-like characters such as Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing. In the case of PVP, landing Inescapable Frenzy isn’t easy, as most players dodge the lunging grab upon hearing the scream.

Unendurable Frenzy in Yelough Anix Ruins

The last and final Frenzied Flame spell is in the Yelough Anix Ruins located on the southwest side of Consecrated Snowfields. However, this is an endgame area reachable only after obtaining both Haligtree medallions and using them at the Grand Lift of Rold. From the Hidden Path to the Haligtree, start heading west and run past the giants dragging the caravan to eventually reach the Yelough Anix Ruins.

Elden Ring - Yelough Anix Ruins

Yelough Anix Ruins is filled with maddened giants and rats. The Unedurable Frenzy spell is hidden in a cellar accessible only by riding Torrent off the broken wall in the ruins. There will be a broken pillar in the center area of the ruins. Ride on the wall and use sprint along with Torrent’s jump ability to reach the separate building on the west side of the ruins.
