How to Find Redthroat Ridge (Redthroat Ridge Location)
As Kuroto mentions, Redthroat Ridge is to the east of Altverden Village​​​​​​​. What he fails to mention, though, is that Redthroat Ridge is on the opposite side of Grum County​​​​​​​, meaning that players will need to travel past Eltisweiss and to the mountain path icon on the far right-hand side of the map. The journey from Altverden to Redthroat Ridge should take somewhere in the region of two minutes, depending on the number of random encounters players get along the way.
How to Hunt Wild Boars in Eiyuden Chronicle
Upon their arrival at Redthroat Ridge, players will probably find themselves wondering how exactly they're supposed to hunt down three Wild Boars. Do these boars appear in the overworld hidden behind wooden boxes or other debris; and how exactly are players supposed to hunt them down? Thankfully, despite this initial uncertainty, completing Kuroto's request ends up being pretty simple.
Wild Boars occasionally show up in random battles in the Redthroat Ridge area. To recruit Kuruto, players will simply need to encounter and then defeat three of them as they would any other regular enemy. Wild Boars seem to be a lot more common the deeper into Redthroat Ridge players venture, so if they're having no luck finding them, they should keep following the path toward the second Eiyuden Chronicle save point until Wild Boars begin to show up.
There isn't an on-screen counter, so players will need to keep track of the number of Wild Boars that they've killed.
How to Recruit Kuruto in Eiyuden Chronicle
After killing three Wild Boars, players should return to Altverden Village and speak with Kuruto again. He'll explain that he sees himself as something of a father figure to the local children and would do anything to keep them safe from the impending threat that looms large over the village. It's for this reason that the crossbow-wielding hunter agrees to join the party. He starts at level six and is best suited to a Battle role.
