EA is currently experiencing server issues impacting many of its games and services, including major titles like Battlefield 5, FIFA 20, and even its PC application Origin. The issues have been widespread and ongoing, with no estimated time of repair as of this writing. EA has acknowledged the problem, and is currently working to find a solution, according to its Twitter account.

Initially, users had reported having issues accessing the services overnight, though it seems that the problems have persisted. One of the more recent updates on the page indicated that EA was disabling FUT and VOLTA match creation for FIFA 20, though there hasn't been anything shared since then. There's no telling when the problem will be solved, though it does appear to be taking quite a toll on EA's services.

Server issues have been fairly commonplace over the past few weeks, with many services reporting record-high user counts, issues have been more widespread. Even Xbox Live has suffered outages lately, so EA certainly isn't alone in its troubles. The trouble largely stems from how many people have been forced to remain at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

Of course, that means that, at least for now, players may not be able to access certain games and services. Most of EA's major titles appear to be impacted right now, from sports to Battlefield and Battlefront 2, EA's best redemption story. It's a shame, but there are plenty of other games out there right now for those still looking for something to play.

There's a chance that the server issues could persist for quite some time. In Game ZXC's own testing, we've been unable to access Origin services despite several tries. Odds are, EA's services will slowly come back online as the day presses on, as is the case with many service outages that take place.

Either way, it's only a matter of time before the services are back online. EA has a mixed reputation among gamers, but the company does tend to be reliable with its services, so it shouldn't be too long before things are back up and running at full speed.
