After a lengthy development period exacerbated by multiple delays, Techland's Dying Light 2 is now right around the corner. As such, new information seems to be arriving more and more frequently, giving players additional insight into how this latest game continues to build upon the open world parkouring of its predecessor. Either way, the game appears to have plenty for players to do, as even the social media account boasted that it would take Dying Light 2 players 500 hours to reach 100% and seeing everything the game has through multiple playthroughs.

Along with plenty of content, Dying Light 2 appears to come packed with extras for each of the different platforms it's appearing on. Naturally, PC players will likely have the most options considering the different builds PC players can have. On the console side, fans were likely surprised to see that the Xbox Series X version is nearly double in size to the PS5 edition. While the reasoning for that remains a mystery, console fans will have multiple graphic options to pick from to better their experience.

In the latest trailer for Dying Light 2, Techland presents a minutes worth of details on the three different visual modes that Xbox Series X players can pick from once they get their hands on the game. The footage is similar to another recent trailer which showcased PlayStation's three available Dying Light 2 visual graphic options as well. The reveal follows a similar trend for most modern games, allowing players to pick between quality or performance.

As expected, Dying Light 2 players can pick from Resolution Mode, Quality Mode, or Performance Mode. Resolution Mode targets 30 frames per second while also going for 4k resolution. Quality mode also targets 30FPS, but also aims for the best visual experience with ray tracing enables for greater effect. Finally, Performance Mode ditches the visual bells and whistles to focus more on maintaining 60FPS or higher if the player has a display that supports Variable Refresh Rates.

If 500 hours of content isn't enough, Techland has also announced that Dying Light 2 will be seeing at least 5 years of post-launch support. The reveal also shed more light on what specifically that means, including additional story content, new events to participate in, new locations to explore, as well as additional in-game items to obtain. Clearly, Techland wants players to be invested in Dying Light 2 for quite a while.

Dying Light 2 releases on February 4, 2022, for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
