Aiden can't save the entire world in Dying Light 2. He's a hero, but his abilities can't do everything for everyone. When a mother approaches Aiden and asks him if he can find her children, there is a good chance that it is already too late. But it's worth trying.
Gamers should know that there is a chance to save both Scott and Moe, but they'll have to do a brief investigation first. Even then, the apocalyptic world of Dying Light 2 doesn't assure that they will survive. Players will need to be both fast and strong to rescue the children.
Getting The Location
After speaking to their mother at the bazaar, Aiden will be asked to look for the boys in the bazaar. Taking this mission literally is a mistake, the boys aren't here. Instead, look for a young boy in a red cap named Dominik. For those well acquainted with the citizens of the bazaar, he's the one that talks about a dog.
After a long conversation, he'll finally remember that the boys and the dog were playing together. Off in the distance, players can hear barking but, for more accurate directions, open the map and follow the new location marker. On the way, feel free to pull some stunts in an effort to power level parkour experience.
Saving Moe
For a bonus tip, wait for nightfall to complete this mission. If the bonus parkour experience isn't enough incentive, the mission itself is indoors and will require clearing out all of the zombies. During the day, the quantity of zombies isn't impossible to clear out, but it is substantially more dangerous.
Scott will unintentionally greet Aiden at the door. Eventually, Aiden will ask Scott to leave. Go ahead and immediately start clearing zombies inside after talking to Scott. It will make the second part of this mission much easier.
After these zombies are cleared out, go upstairs and find a mortally wounded Buddy crying on a sofa. In the room directly across from him, Moe is hiding out. He'll mention a dangerous zombie and Aiden will have to leave the room and kill it. This is much easier if the zombies have already been cleared.
When the last zombie dies, loot the zombies for a bundle of quick cash. Then, return to Moe and have him go home. Players will have to decide whether to kill Buddy there or let him die slowly; unfortunately, there is no saving him.
Go Back To The Bazaar
Back home, Aiden can complete the mission by returning to the home of Scott and Moe's mother. Gamers will be confronted with the decision of what to tell Dominik about Buddy, but this is a flavor choice, the mission will complete regardless of which dialogue option is selected.
Dying Light 2 was released on February 4th, 2022, and is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
