After a lengthy development period and a number of delays, Dying Light 2 is finally in the hands of players. The latest game from Techland promises to be its biggest one yet, touting 500 hours need to see everything across multiple playthroughs. On top of that, Techland has plans to release new content into Dying Light 2 well after its launch up to five years from now. Needless to say, the studio is hoping to keep this game running for a long time.

As players explore the open city of Villador, they'll come across a wide variety of items and gear that can be used in various ways. While some can be used for crafting and being used as resources, players will also find plenty of weapons that can be used, some with interesting effects and modifiers as well.

Where to Find Pre-Order and Deluxe Edition Items

Digital copy owners of Dying Light 2 should see the items already installed alongside of the game. Physical edition owners should have received a code or voucher which will need to be entered into their platform's online store marketplace. Once the codes have been entered and the game started, players will need to hunt these items down inside the zombie ridden streets of Villador.

Thankfully, the chore isn't too difficult as the items will be held at locations called Aiden's Stash. These are marked on the map by a green duffel bag icon, typically at a safe zone. All players need to do is reach the location and interact with the stash located there and then go to the Extras section of the menu to see the pre-order and deluxe items.

For weapons, players will need to hover over the icon, redeem them, and then move them to their inventory. For outfits, they can be equipped right from the Dying Light 2 Extras menu without having to move them from the stash to the inventory.

Dying Light 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
