There are a couple of secret parkour challenges in Dying Light 2, including one that lets players ride a hoverboard. Fans cannot simply walk up to a location and access the Hoverboard parkour challenge, though, as they first fulfill some prerequisite. Detailing those prerequisites is the precise purpose of this guide, and fans that read on should be able to unlock the Hoverboard secret challenge in Dying Light 2 without too much difficulty.

Dying Light 2: Hoverboard Parkour Challenge Location

Fans that would like to put their hoverboard skills to the test should begin by visiting the Church of Saint Thomas on the east side of Saint Paul Island. Upon arriving at this location, players should make their way into the church and through its sanctuary, using their parkour skills in Dying Light 2 to reach a ladder that is high up in the northeast corner. Fans should then grab the rope to their left to swing across a gap, use the chandelier to cross another gap, and jump through the opening in the wall that is in front of them.

Players will now find themselves in a room with an open door on the right, and they should pass through that door and grab the cable from the green generator. This cable can be plugged into a generator next to the bell, which is high above the green generator, and Dying Light 2 players will need to climb ladders, scaffolding, and poles to reach it. Then, once the cable has been inserted, players will need to continue their ascent until they reach a room with a radio.

After interacting with the radio, a hoverboard will appear next to the window in the room, and players should interact with it. This action will cause the hoverboard to disappear, and zombie video game fans must now use their Survivor Sense, follow the red footprints on the ground, and interact with the hoverboard that they are led to. Players will then need to repeat this process several more times, ultimately arriving at a car near the southeast corner of the Muddy Grounds.

At this point, fans must simply interact with the trunk of the car to open it and reveal the final hoverboard. This object acts as the starting point for the Hoverboard secret challenge, and players must guide it through a total of 23 checkpoints. As is typical with parkour challenges in Dying Light 2, fans will earn medals based on their speed, and players that are going for the gold may need to hop on the hoverboard multiple times.

Dying Light 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with a Switch version in development.
