The second parkour challenge in Dying Light 2 is nothing like the first. It's shorter and allows players to get to all of the checkpoints in any order they'd like. This might make it sound easier but don't let the angle of freedom trick Aiden; this course probably requires a more particular route than even the first one.

At least, that's the case for players aiming to get the gold medal. Executed perfectly, players can knock out the objectives with perhaps two seconds to spare. It's going to be tight, but with the correct order, Dying Light 2 players should be able to snag the gold medal without any upgrades.

Optimal Path And Times

The idea here is that Aiden will need to make a very specific circular loop, counterclockwise, from right to left, after getting to the first point in front of him. It can be tempting to move left and get the closer point first, but the decreased elevation will make it impossible to win unless players have already unlocked the best parkour skills.

Checkpoint 1 - 0:04

For the first jump, hop on the beam just to the left of the checkpoint. Unless players have power-leveled their parkour experience, they can't go straight for the point without needing to do a pull-up, which takes valuable time off of the clock.

Checkpoint 2 - 0:06

There is very little distance between the first and second point. Jump to the roof and avoid the windows.

The windows force Aiden into a climbing animation which takes slightly longer than scrambling up the steep part of the opposing roof. Go between them and hit the checkpoint.

Checkpoint 3 - 0:11

The path from the second to the third is straightforward, but it is important to jump from the top of a moss-covered raised window. Again, this extra height allows Aiden to land cleanly on his feet and prevents Aiden from getting jammed up on the corner that he jumps toward.

Checkpoint 4 - 0:14

From this point, Aiden has three choices and two of them are wrong. He can run around the right side, which takes too long. He can also run straight toward the fourth checkpoint, which forces him to do a pull-up.

The ideal choice is right between the two, jumping onto an extended part of the roof just to the right of the point, and then running a few feet to get to it.

Checkpoint 5 - 0:19

The last part is the easiest, though it is time-consuming and easy to get distracted. Don't get distracted by the ventilation ramp to the right or the conditioner in front. Aiden can go directly under the shaft without needing to duck. After that, hop up on the lamppost and enjoy the gold medal!
