The Master Brewer in Dying Light 2 is a gold mine of parkour points. He offers three courses to run and players can do each of them, get a gold medal, and gain nearly an entire skill level just through these mini-games. If it sounds too easy, there is a catch.
Getting the gold medal is much easier said than done. Many players can fly through the first course and end strong on the finale, but the middle run can be a bit of a snag. For those who want the top honors in Dying Light 2, this is how to beat that sneaky-tough second challenge.
Optimal Path And Times
All of the parkour challenges will be easier if players have unlocked the best parkour skills in the game. That's just a given. But this guide was made for players who might not have all of these incredible abilities yet. Those who have extra skills to take shortcuts can do so, but this guide will help anybody, amateur or veteran, win the gold.
Checkpoint 1 - 0:14
Going straight for the point is ambitious, but there are lots of cars, tight jumps, and pull-ups to contend with, all of with cost time. From the starting point, look directly left and notice a much easier wire bridge to tightrope across.
From here, there are other, more difficult paths that can next extra parkour experience points, but the safest way to get across the street is to jump from one yellow ramp to the yellow ramp on the opposing rooftop. The first checkpoint will be right there.
Checkpoint 2 - 0:55
From the end of the first point, look for a tattered billboard in the direction of the next waypoint. It has plenty of holds for Aiden to grab and climb to the top. Do this and squeeze through the wooden fence.
This leads to a small base where players can refill their immunity and make some smart buys from the vendor, but the middle of the race is hardly the right time.
Going through the building is too hazardous, just to the left, there is an opening that leads to several meters of unobstructed running before the next issue.
There are three sets of parallel monkey bars, take the right side across and land on the next rooftop.
Some with upgraded jumping abilities might be able to get across this street flat-out, but there are several makeshift metallic bridges to use. Take on one of them and arrive, at last, as the second checkpoint.
Checkpoint 3 - 1:16
To get to point three, go past the beehives and UV Shroomz on the right (maybe come back later when needing to restore immunity) and hop onto the lip of the building across the street.
There is no need to climb this rooftop as Aiden will need to climb up the roof on the left despite the extra height. So carefully go along the edge and jump up the side of the brick building.
Peering down from the edge, spot a streetlight in a perfect position to cross the street, Hop onto it from above, the go up the slanted part of the roof and onto the point. Climbing up the window might feel more natural, but the animation takes just a little too long.
Checkpoint 4 - 1:16
The clock is starting to get scary at this point, but don't fret. The fourth point is a very short way away from the third checkpoint. Jump from metal scaffolding to metal scaffolding and hop up the opposing rooftop. The fourth point will be right there waiting.
Checkpoint 5 - 1:39
With time winding down, the most important thing to do is get to high ground and then get going downhill. This jump is really only reasonable in one place. Look for a ramp with a yellow arrow painted on it and it leads to a ramp on the other side that is just barely reachable. For players that fall short, there are plenty of holds just beneath the ramp for Aiden to pull himself up.
From here, there is no obstacle between Aiden and the final checkpoint. Run down the rooftops and grab the gold!
