Dying Light 2 features numerous Easter eggs and secrets for players to discover, several of which take the form of parkour challenges. One of those secret challenges allows fans to take flight on a broomstick, and it is a great opportunity to soar above the skyscrapers. For those players that would like to ride on a flying broomstick in Dying Light 2, details on exactly where to start this special parkour challenge can be found in this guide.

Dying Light 2: Baba Yaga Parkour Challenge Location

The first step toward flying on a broomstick is to complete the Broadcast story quest in Dying Light 2. While it is technically possible to reach this parkour challenge before that story mission has been finished, the task becomes so much easier with the quest resolved. That is due to the fact that completing Broadcast will give players access to an elevator that takes them directly to the top of the VNC Tower, and that makes it extremely simple to get to the broomstick challenge.

After finishing the Broadcast story mission, fans should make their way to the VNC Tower in the Central Loop's Garrison and locate the aforementioned elevator on the first floor. Dying Light 2 players should then use that elevator to reach the roof of the VNC Tower and navigate to its east edge. Looking down from this position, fans will see a building with a crane on its roof, and they should use their gliders and grappling hooks to reach the top of that machine.

There are some blue mushrooms growing in the cubic part of the crane, just below its arm, and interacting with that fungi will cause it to grow. Players should perform this interaction repeatedly until they are ultimately prompted to start the Baba Yaga parkour challenge in Dying Light 2, and they will find themselves atop a broomstick upon confirming their participation. All that is left to do at this point is to ride the flying broom through a series of checkpoints, and medals are granted based on speed.

To note, there are several other Easter eggs and secret items that can be accessed from the top of the VNC Tower. For instance, there is a charm nearby that can be used to effectively give weapons infinite durability in Dying Light 2, and players that are interested in that item should set their sights on the building with the tall antenna on its roof. There is also an NPC on the roof of a structure that is just past the antenna building, and he will provide fans with a very special weapon.

Dying Light 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with a Switch version in development.
