Techland has seemingly filled Dying Light 2 to the brim with Easter eggs, as it seems as though players are finding new secrets every other day. The latest Easter egg that Dying Light 2 players have found relates to Doom and is perhaps the most complex and detailed Easter egg that players have come across in the game so far.

In order to activate the Easter egg players will first need to find 5 evil-looking black rubber ducks scattered around the map. Once th process has been completed, players must make their way to a building that featured in the early parts of the main quest called Broadcast. If all the black rubber ducks are collected, a door that was previously locked will now be open, which will allow players to explore a secret chamber.

After making their way into the Doom-themed chamber, players will be met with 5 pedestals, which they need to place the black rubber ducks on. The player will then need to connect the cables behind the ducks into the sockets on the opposite wall.

Once this is complete, the "Ka Doom Shotgun" will appear in the middle of the chamber. When players interact with it, they will be teleported into a Doom arena where they will need to kill some pixilated zombies with the shotgun and collect items before time runs out.

This is by far the most complex Easter egg players have found so far, as the Dying Light 2Resident Evil Easter egg main quest. This Easter egg will be hard to miss if the player has any knowledge of Resident Evil, as it features characters named Leon and Chris Redfield.

Dying Light 2's Dead Island Easter egg is also relatively easy to find, as it appears in the game's prologue and makes reference to the prologue of Dead Island. The Easter egg involves a record player called “Who Do You Voodoo?”, which is a reference to a song in the opening scene of Dead Island.

Alternatively, Dying Light 2's Cyberpunk 2077 Easter egg is slightly off the beaten track, as players will have to know where to look if they want to find it. The Easter egg is a weapon called the Cyberhands 2177, and it bears a striking resemblance to the Mantis Blades from Cyberpunk 2077.

Dying Light 2 players are still unsure if the bicycle in the game is an undiscovered Easter egg, or if it was merely cut from the game at the last minute. For now, it seems the only way to access it is by spawning it in through a developer menu.

Dying Light 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
