Dying Light 2: Stay Human was one of the most anticipated games of early 2022. Following the success of the first Dying Light, it seemed the zombie survival genre was not dead just yet. After a delay to Dying Light 2's initial release date of December 2021, fans were expecting much of the game, and even with it being available for only a couple of days, it has blown the peak players of Dying Light out of the water.

However, as is often the curse with modern games, bugs and technical problems have been reported across social media for Dying Light 2. Players are experiencing a vast range of bugs and glitches, from one player unable to heal, to another unfortunately stuck in a death loop that may force them to restart the entire game. While the game is a blast for many, it's clear that to make the game the experience it was intended to be a few gameplay tweaks to Dying Light 2 are necessary, including one to fix its multiplayer mode.

Dying Light 2's cooperative multiplayer was one of the latest features to be fully revealed about the game. After about two hours spent playing through Dying Light 2, players will gain access to cooperative multiplayer with up to four people, provided one player acts as the host in their game space. Everything except the prologue was, according to Techland, designed with multiplayer in mind, meaning that the ending of the game can be reached through multiplayer. Or, that would be the case were there not some glaring problems with Dying Light 2's multiplayer.

Dying Light 2 Co-Op Not Working

Network disconnects, server issues and other problems are currently preventing many Dying Light 2 players from enjoying cooperative experience. Some are taking to Twitter to voice their opinions on the matter, questioning whether the bug they've run into will be fixed shortly, along with the possibility of a day one patch. More players are sharing their frustrations on the cooperative mode due to multiplayer trophies being included in the game.

While the source of these problems is currently unknown, Techland has spoken to the community in order to enact some kind of damage control. The Dying Light 2 developer stated that the problems with co-op and redeeming awards are at the top of its list of things to fix. However, this again caused some slight controversy with fans wondering when the rest of the glitches in the game will be at the top of the priority list.

Dying Light 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
