Completionists for Dying Light 2 have their hands full as it is. The game already boasts over 500 hours of things to do and unlock. As if that's not brutal enough, these kinds of gamers will be reloading save after to save to try and win a race against a fellow parkour enthusiast.

Yet, after thousands of tries, it appears that no one can beat him. Is he simply that good? So good that nobody can hold a candle to him and players are doomed to lose? Actually, no. Players can definitely win, but speed has very little to do with the victory. It's more about being one of Dying Light 2's more crafty and tenacious players.

Do Not Rush

This is a two-step mission and, in both cases, rushing it only makes things more painful. Though players are eager to show up this "punk" (as Aiden calls him) with some of the best parkour skills in the game, don't do anything risky. Taking damage to be faster is a mistake.

Aiden will lose this first leg of the journey no matter what. Don't sweat it. If Aiden put money on it, he can get it back (plus interest) later on. The courses will go through zombie-infested areas. Gamers may choose whether to sneak by or engage in combat for some quick combat experience.

Fight The Zombies

Repeat this process for the second race. Feel free to put some money down, once again, it's possible to recoup these losses. Unlike last time, as players get to the finishing location, the runner will be getting attacked by a wave of zombies.

The mission shifts from a feigned test about speed to a very real test about combat. If players have unlocked some amazing combat skills, bust them out and keep the runner safe. When Aiden engages, the runner will get to safety, so players shouldn't have to worry about him during this fight.

Make A Choice

Finally, players are treated to the reason when beating the runner in a footrace was not possible. It turns out he has an identical twin with a similar jacket that hangs out that the finish of these races so that the original runner would appear to have won without breaking a sweat every time.

At this point, players have the choice to allow the brothers to keep the money (no coins reimbursed), get a refund (400 coins if Aiden bet both times), or demand more money back (players that bet both times will get 550 coins returned). This is purely a role-playing decision, so whatever feels right will complete the side quest.
