Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular actors on the planet, and part of his social media success comes down to the wholesomeness of his posts, including a recent trip to 7-Eleven that saw him make up for misdeeds as a teenager.

Unsurprisingly, the Black Adam star is one of the most followed users on Instagram, only being surpassed by soccer legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, as well as Kylie Jenner and Only Murders in the Building star Selena Gomez. Most of Johnson's posts consist of updates on the actor's work and inside looks at his strict fitness regime, but a trip to Hawaii, where Johnson briefly lived growing up, gave him the perfect opportunity to brighten up the day for a few people.

In a short video posted on his Instagram, Johnson told the story of how he used to steal a Snickers bar (king size, of course) at a Honolulu 7-Eleven every day for a whole year, which he’d then eat as pre-workout snacks when he was getting in peak form as a teen. Johnson explained that, at the time, he couldn’t afford to curb his hunger pangs but needed those extra calories to bulk up, as he has been very passionate about bodybuilding ever since a young age when he was a promising defensive tackle with sights set on the NFL. Watch the entire video to see how many Snickers he ended up buying.

On top of the $298 worth of Snickers, Johnson also paid for the purchases of every customer in line at the 7-Eleven. he also gave the store clerks some pretty decent tips to finally clean up his conscience. Every King Size Snickers packs 555 calories and 8.5 grams of protein, and while it may be hard to imagine him keeping candy bars as part of his diet nowadays, his shoplifting antics helped him grow to a massive 6’5” and 253 pounds when the University of Miami recruited him.

Johnson, whose family moved out of Hawaii due to financial reasons, has become an inspiration for many, not only due to how well this 50-year-old man takes care of himself but also in part thanks to overcoming his NFL dreams getting shattered before becoming a wrestler and currently Hollywood’s highest-paid actor. Naturally, Johnson didn’t take all those Snickers with him, instead leaving them at the store so that any other teenagers tempted to snag a few treats don’t have to resort to stealing.
