Black Adam's time as the most powerful force in the DC Universe sure didn’t last too long. However, it turns out the film’s star, Dwayne Johnson, wouldn’t have it any other way, as he always saw Henry Cavill's Superman as a key component of his character.Despite an underwhelming box office run that’s been largely overshadowed by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Johnson's Black Adam debut brought many positives to this new era of DC films, namely the comeback of Cavill as Superman in its post-credits scene. His inclusion will open the doors for these two juggernauts to clash in the future, something that Johnson went to great lengths to make happen.RELATED: DC: 11 Characters Killed By Superman In The ComicsIn a new video posted by Johnson on Twitter, the actor spent 6 minutes explaining how and why Black Adam is the most powerful force in the DC Universe right now, a little-known fact for those not too familiar with the antihero’s comic book exploits. Nevertheless, Johnson stated that “If we’re gonna establish Black Adam as the most powerful, unstoppable force in the DC universe, we have to bring back the most powerful, unstoppable force of all time in any universe.” That, of course, turns out to be Amanda Waller's unlikely friend, Superman, whom Johnson spent years trying to court back with none other than Cavill, who “is our generation’s Superman.”[EMBED_TWITTER]https://twitter.com/TheRock/status/1595517243831377921?s=20&t=TqxIJ9YE8_rTQRmG5x0c_A[/EMBED_TWITTER]Johnson used the words “inexplicably and inexcusably” to refer to the time and reasons that may have kept Warner Bros. and DC from bringing Cavill back. Johnson is probably right to say “there’s no viable, logical way that you can attempt to build out the DC universe” without one of the biggest superheroes ever. The star also noted the worthy addition of the Justice Society of America, another obscure group that could grow more popular as part of James Gunn's vision for DC.Similar to Black Adam himself, Johnson is not too fond of Shazam, his biggest rival in the comics besides Superman, although either of the two superheroes will make for a sensational clash that moviegoers should get to see in the coming years. Unfortunately, Black Adam has been lambasted by critics. Although fan approval is much better, the movie’s numbers aren’t great by any measure, even if Johnson says money won’t be his measure for success.Black Adam's $368.2 million earnings would be more than respectable had the film not used such a high budget ($195-200M), but as Johnson says, there’s still a chance to add more revenue in the next month. The character is certainly gaining more recognition, as Black Adam's inclusion in MultiVersus has been met with great reception.Black Adam is currently available in theaters.MORE: The Presence: 5 Things To Know About The Fictional Creator Of The DC UniverseSource: Dwayne Johnson | Twitter
