Mythic Odysseys of Theros, the latest Dungeons and Dragons Campaign Book, isn't even out yet, but it seems as if its successor may already have been leaked. A post yesterday on r/dndnext contained news of the new Campaign Book, reportedly linking a video accidentally released by the official D&D Beyond YouTube channel.

The video was taken down almost immediately, with the Reddit post following shortly after, but it wasn't enough to stop one Redditor from taking a screenshot that shows the alleged cover of the book. The screenshot, seen here, reveals that the new Campaign Book will apparently be called Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden.

With the video and post having both been taken down all we're left with is the screenshot, which promises that players will "Feel the cold touch of death in this adventure for the world's greatest roleplaying game." While the screenshot is unverified, it does seem quite believable that the next Dungeons and Dragons adventure would be set in Icewind Dale.

Apart from a few recent hints towards a snowy update on the way, the region is also home to some of the fantasy world's most well-known characters. The popular Drizzt Do'Urden book series spends a lot of time there, as does the classic Infinity Engine CRPG Icewind Dale. It will also be the setting for the upcoming D&D action-RPG Dark Alliance, which features Drizzt as a primary character.
