On the company’s official Twitter page, Dungeons and Dragons has officially confirmed the delay of the Mythic Odysseys of Theros campaign sourcebook. Originally slated for a June 2 release, the second D&D crossover with Magic: The Gathering will now be available on July 21, 2020.

The campaign sourcebook will be released with two distinct hard covers with the alternative cover featuring a soft-touch finish that will be available for purchase exclusively in game stores.

The book can currently be pre-ordered at various online retail outlets, as well as brick-and-mortar stores, and has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $49.95. Fans will also be able to access the digital version on June 2 using either the D&D Beyond, Roll 20, or Fantasy Grounds online portals.

The Mythic Odysseys of Theros sourcebook will allow players to venture into Magic: The Gathering’s Greek myth inspired plane of Theros and align themselves with one of the lands’ 15 deities, who will bestow supernatural traits upon devoted followers. New character races such as the leonine and the satyr will be made available, as well as new Dungeons and Dragons sub-classes including the Bard’s College of Eloquence and the Paladin’s Oath of Glory. Additionally, players will encounter renowned legendary creatures with godlike abilities that can be conquered using newly acquired god-weapons.
