Gulper Eel Location

The Gulper Eel can be found in a fishing spot on the east side of F4, just to the west of the Research Outpost in Stellar Basin. Notably, players will need a rod that is capable of catching Hadal fish in order to land this exotic.

Goliath Tigerfish Location

To find the Goliath Tigerfish, players should head to E12 in the Twisted Strand. There is a fallen tree at this location, and fans of fishing video games should use some Packed Explosives to destroy it and access the area that is beyond. In this area, players will find a fishing spot, and they should cast a Mangrove rod into it to catch the creature.

Coelacanth Location

Players can catch the Coelacanth by traveling to the northwest corner of Q12. There is a pile of loose debris there, which fans of Lovecraftian video games can destroy with a Packed Explosive. When that is done, players should sail slightly forward and use an Abyssal rod to pull the fish out of the disturbed water.

Recording Rarities Pursuit Rewards

With respect to the rewards that can be earned through the Recording Rarities Pursuit, players will receive two Research Parts each time that they tell the Travelling Merchant that they found a fish. This means that there are a total of eight Research Parts up for grabs, and those are sure to be of interest to fans that are looking to upgrade their vessels.

Furthermore, players that find all four exotics and complete Recording Rarities will be one step closer to earning the Providence achievement. For full clarity, that achievement is granted for addressing all of Dredge's side quests, and indeed this optional Pursuit is part of that requirement.
