There are two endings to Dredge, and some players will undoubtedly want to see them both. Fortunately for those fans, it is not particularly difficult to access either of the game's ending, though the path to one of them is a bit circuitous. This guide is here to provide full details on that path, and it will help players earn Dredge's "good" and "bad" endings.

Dredge: Bad Ending Guide

dredge how to get all endings

In order to obtain the "bad" ending, players must simply return all five Relics to the Ruined Mansion on Blackstone Isle and complete The Collector Pursuit. Once that is done, the Collector will indicate that it is time to make one last trip, and players should go along with his plan and head to the location that is marked on the in-game map. Upon arriving at this location, which is just west of Greater Marrow, fans of fishing video games should interact with the water to initiate the end sequence and earn the Unshackled achievement.

Dredge: Good Ending Guide

For the "good" ending, players should once again complete The Collector Pursuit. However, fans of indie open-world games should not agree to the Collector's plan upon giving him the final Relic, and they should instead travel to P10. Here, players will find an island, and they should use its dock to initiate a conversation with the Old Mayor.

Fans should continue this conversation until the character point them toward the Lighthouse Keeper in Greater Marrow. Dredge players should then speak with the Keeper, asking her what she knows about the silver and crimson book. When that conversation concludes, fans should confront the Collector on Blackstone Isle, insist that he reveal more about his book, and pursue the book until it is in the protagonist's possession.

With this important object in hand, players should once again visit the Lighthouse Keeper in Greater Marrow, this time indicating that they have the book. Fans that are prepared to see the "good" should now state that they are ready and then navigate to the location that is marked on the in-game map. Notably, this is the same location that is visited during the "bad" ending, and players should interact with the water at the marked position to trigger the final sequence and earn the Sated achievement.

To note, selecting "continue" from the main menu after the credits roll will return players to the moment prior to the point of no return. This makes it possible for fans to easily access both endings during a single playthrough, and it also gives them the opportunity to complete any of the optional Pursuits in Dredge that have been left unaddressed.

Dredge is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
