The artist, Martin Nebelong, shared a time-lapse video to Twitter detailing the 2-hour process to create the virtual fan art. The 90-second video is very impressive and displays the possibilities available to players who can make use of the development tools in Dreams.

The post has received a few thousand likes and many replies from users who were simply astounded by the abilities of the artist. One user commented that the art is so amazing that it looks like it would have taken months as opposed to hours. Nebelong replied to the comment and praised Dreams for being very streamline once players are familiar with the software and added a short clip showing the progress of the art at the 1-hour and 30-minute mark. One user quoted the tweet and stated that they had not tried to create anything in a game-making application outside of RPG maker, but they are currently downloading Dreams to see what can be done.

This tribute is simply amazing, and it is also a great example of the freedom given to players in Dreams. Currently, Media Molecule has been quiet about its next project, but fans are hoping to hear something about a new announcement, with many fans wishing for the PlayStation studio to return to the LittleBigPlanet series. While nothing has been stated officially, fans have pointed out that Media Molecule was recently hiring for developers to work on an unannounced live service project. For now though, fans will have to wait for confirmation from Media Molecule or PlayStation itself.

Dreams is out now for PS4.
