YouTube user Bad Robo has uploaded a video showcasing a canyon on clear and sunny day, created using the PlayStation 4 game creation system Dreams. This particular Dreams creation is especially notable due to the high level of detail packed in to make up a highly realistic-looking environment.

Bad Robo has yet again accomplished very highly in creating impressive photorealistic environments and further bolsters their versatility, having created a forest environment complete with ambient sound earlier this year. With several million views on their channel, Bad Robo continues to demonstrate the versatility of Media Molecule's robust game creation system.

In Dreams, players are able to utilize its versatile kit to create virtually whatever they want. Imagination and certain intellectual properties are the only limits to whatever can be created, though most creations do tend to lean towards popular culture including a surreal horror take on '90s sitcom classic Seinfeld. While these recreations of popular culture are highly enticing for various reasons beyond humor, creations of photorealistic environments have also garnered the community's attention.

With news that Dreams will receive PlayStation VR support, it will be interesting to see how a shift in controls and perspective will affect the creation process and its outputs. When the update drops on July 22, players will be able to create levels that can be played in VR, with the rating system being able to indicate whether the experience is comfortable to view through the PSVR headset. VR presents a whole new challenge for player-creators to take on if they want to, with there being an option to indicate whether a level can be playable in VR or not, and creations like Bad Robo's environments could be even more stunning when viewed and played through the headset.

In the time since Dreams has come out, the community has been hard at work demonstrating their passion and creativity. But there have been some concerns surrounding the future of these creations, which have been addressed by Media Molecule. This is good news for creators like Bad Robo whose creations will not go to waste, stating on their YouTube channel that they are creating a currently unnamed game in Dreams.

Dreams is available now for PS4.
