Though there are many vegetables and produce that grow on their own in Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are just as many that can only be grown by players. In order to do that, however, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to purchase seeds from Goofy and grow them. Goofy has a stall in every single biome, and it isn't just for convenience.
Each stall sells seeds that can only be purchased in that biome. This is the case with Sugarcane, and this guide will show players where they can purchase Sugarcane Seeds so that they can plant them in the village.
Where to Get Sugarcane Seeds
As mentioned above, Sugarcane is one of the plants that can only be purchased or grown. Disney Dreamlight Valley players looking to add Sugarcane to their collection will want to go to Goofy's stall located at Dazzle Beach.
Of course, players will need to repair the stall to purchase seeds or produce from it. Disney Dreamlight Valley players may also need to upgrade the stall to purchase Sugarcane Seeds.
Where to Plant Sugarcane
In spite of the fact that Sugarcane Seeds can only be purchased from Goofy at Dazzle Beach, Disney Dreamlight Valley players do not need to plant them exclusively in that biome. Since players are able to completely customize and decorate the Village however they see fit, that also means that they can also plant seeds wherever they so desire. As an example, players could turn the Forgotten Lands or the Glades of Trust into a giant farm if they wanted.
It doesn't take long for Sugarcane to grow, so it is easy to stock up on it. This is especially true if players happen to bring along a companion with the Gardening Role, as this can potentially double how much players get when they harvest.
What is Sugarcane Used For?
Like all crops that Disney Dreamlight Valley players can grow, Sugarcane is used for cooking. However, the majority of the recipes that it makes are in the dessert section. For example, cooking one Sugarcane makes Candy. Cooking one Sugarcane and one Apple makes Caramel Apples, which restores more energy than a one-star meal. While many recipes that can be made are desserts, there are some that are not.
One such example is when Disney Dreamlight Valley players cook one Egg and one Sugarcane, it makes Tamagoyaki, which is odd considering the model for it shows rice and seaweed when there isn't any used in the recipe.
Another recipe that can be made with Sugarcane is Apple Cider Glazed Salmon, which is made with one Sugarcane, one Apple, and one Salmon. Aside from cooking, Sugarcane is occasionally one of the favorite daily items for villagers. So whether it is for cooking or as a gift, Sugarcane has many uses for Disney Dreamlight Valley players.
