Halloween may be over, but that doesn't mean that Disney's Dreamlight Valley players have to stop celebrating. In fact, there's still plenty of time left to finish some of the limited-time events, such as the Villains' Star Path and the special Halloween Dreamlight Duties. While most duties in the game tell players exactly what they need to do, the Halloween Dreamlight Duties have proven to be a bit trickier. For players trying to figure out how to complete the "Sugar Rush" duty, the answer is simpler than one might think.

Normally, Dreamlight Duties list the task that players must complete and how many times they must do it. "Feed a critter," "Mine 4 rock spots," and "Sell 3 fish" are all pretty straightforward. "Sugar Rush 0/15" may require a bit of explanation, however. Disney's Dreamlight Valley players can take heart knowing that this task is both easy to complete and comes with some great rewards.

Dreamlight Valley - How to Complete "Sugar Rush"

How to complete Sugar Rush Dreamlight Valley

Put simply, the only thing players need to do to complete the "Sugar Rush" Dreamlight Duty is to eat food made with sugarcane. Since there are three tiers to this duty, players need to eat a total of 45 meals made with sugarcane.

Valley dwellers with a sweet tooth could make and eat 45 Aurora's Cakes, but it's much quicker and cost-effective to stick with basic candy. Candy is made by cooking sugarcane by itself, and players can easily get sugarcane by buying it from Goofy's stall on Dazzle Beach or planting seeds purchased from the same place. The seeds grow very quickly, so it's best to just buy 45 seeds and plant them all at once. With a farming buddy, it's possible to get away with less than 45 seeds as well. Players will also need 45 coal to cook all this candy since Scar's eco-friendly stove was fixed.

Another thing that separates Halloween Dreamlight Duties from the others is their rewards. Rather than giving players Dreamlight to open up new areas or realms, players earn special Halloween-themed furniture for completing these tasks. Eat 15 sugary meals to earn the Happy Jack-O'-Lantern, 30 to earn the Mischievous Jack-O'-Lantern, and 45 to earn the Friendly Jack-O'-Lantern.

That's all there is to completing the "Sugar Rush" Halloween Dreamlight Duty. Players that find themselves wanting more than one of these spooky Jack-O'-Lanterns can use Scrooge's catalog by talking to him in the store to purchase more. They aren't too expensive, but if players need more money, there are plenty of ways to earn Disney's Dreamlight Valley star coins fast.

Disney's Dreamlight Valley is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
