There are only two methods for fast travel in Dragon's Dogma 2 and it's easy to miss them or misunderstand them, especially for players who are eager to explore. How to Fast Travel in Dragon's Dogma
The key to teleporting around the world of Dragon's Dogma are Ferrystones and these one-use items can be both found and purchased. Those looking for these items can most reliably find them at The Black Cat in Gran Soren, in the Chamber of Estrangement, and in the Chamber of Remorse. On top of this, those who are playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will find an Eternal Ferrystone (one that never breaks) within their storage.
Speaking with Mountebank, Fournival, Delec, and Joye will bring up the option to purchase Ferrystones for a price between 1,000 and 2,000 gold in the expansion, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. Aside from purchasing them, Ferrystones can occasionally be found in the Portcrystal Ring in Gran Soren, on a boat located at the Ruins of Aernst Castle, as well as in the Dragonforged's cave at Hillfigure Knoll. In the post-game world, players will find Ferrystones in the Everfall in chests and as monster drops as well.
Where can Players Fast Travel in Dragon's Dogma?
Heading to the tool section and activating a Ferrystone will bring up the map of the world with the available fast travel locations. The locations that are marked are either the permanent Portcrystal Rings located in cities like Gran Soren or portable Portcrystals that the player has placed. The latter category gives players quite a bit of freedom when it comes to setting a fast travel location. Portable Portcrystals can be placed anywhere except on Bitterblack Isle, within the Witchwood, at any underground location, or within a city.
Portable Portcrystals can be acquired as players make their way through the main quest line of Dragon's Dogma as well as in a handful of other locations with the Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen expansion. Players can find one at the top of the Bluemoon Tower, in the Everfall on the Flameservant's Throne, in the cave of the Dragonforged at Hillfigure Knoll, and just beyond the door in the area under the giant tree near the Witch's House.
