Capcom announced Dragon's Dogma 2 in June, offering glimpses at gameplay and some vague hints about the story. One of the most significant new features is the introduction of the Beastrens, a playable race of humanoid felines resembling lions and tigers. After awakening in a dungeon with the dragon's voice echoing in their head, players will set out on an adventure across the kingdoms of Vermund and Battahl. Along the way, they will encounter both stunning vistas and vicious monsters.

Capcom hasn't revealed much detail about the new game's story apart from the basic premise. However, the studio has teased two important characters in the form of Dragon's Dogma 2's Beastren Empress Nadinia and human archer Ulrika. The studio hasn't revealed much about either character yet, though both women are important enough to feature prominently in the game's promotional material.
