Dragon's Dogma 2 Hits 3 Million Players Worldwide

Capcom has been on a roll since it released Resident Evil 7 in 2017. The publisher has found the perfect formula to capitalize on its IPs by remaking old Resident Evil games while also releasing new entries into the horror franchise. The remakes are so successful that the publisher isn't stopping anytime soon, with leaks pointing to two new Resident Evil remakes on the way. Meanwhile, series such as Monster Hunter and Street Fighter are refining their formula and hoarding records.

Recently, numerous rumors surrounding the Resident Evil series began appearing on social media. First, there were rumors that Resident Evil 1 would receive another remake, but reputable Capcom leaker AestheticGamer debunked this. In the same thread, AestheticGamer said that the Resident Evil 9 release date was delayed to late 2025, possibly even 2026. Perhaps the remakes of Resident Evil 0 and Code Veronica will fill the gap while the next mainline is still unrevealed.
