Romancing Ulrika requires three specific Quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Completing all of them will reward players with a cutscene of Ulrika confessing her feelings. If players wish to romance another NPC, make sure to skip the last step in the Home Is Where the Hearth Is Quest, but they will be locked out of the rewards. The Romance process will take place in three crucial areas, which are Vernworth, Melve, and Harve Village. The required missions are:

Home Is Where The Hearth Is

Complete An Unsettling Encounter Quest in Vernworth and wait a few days before visiting Melve again to trigger the Home Is Where the Hearth Is Quest.

Make sure to buy four swords at Vernworth before going to Melve if you haven’t completed the Brothers Brave and Timid Quest.

Since the village is under the Queen’s authority, you can’t enter it freely. Bribe the guard with 5000 Gold in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and go speak with Lennart. He reveals that the villagers want to fight back, but the guards take all the weapons. There are two methods to get them:

  • If you previously completed the Brothers Brave and Timid Quest, the two brothers are found near the storeroom and will distract the guards long enough for you to sneak inside and get the weapons.
  • If not, purchase the cheapest swords from Vernworth and give them to Lennart. The merchants in Melve are being watched, so they can’t sell weapons.

Once the villagers have their weapons, they will fight the guards, and you need to fight with them. The enemies will soon run away and Lennart informs Arisen that Ulrika invited Melve's villagers to come live in Harve Village, away from the Queen’s eyes.

Pass the time in Dragon’s Dogma 2 on the nearby bench and talk with her at night to witness a cutscene. Ulrika will confess that she cares about the Arisen, which marks the Quest as complete, successfully romancing Ulrika.
