Wearing a good set of armor is a sure-fire way to keep death at bay in Dragon's Dogma 2. The stats they provide are great, and so is the opportunity to create fashionable outfits that'll let players enjoy the re-imagined story in style.

Dragon's Dogma 2: Vocation Frustration Walkthrough (Archistaff & Greatsword Locations)

The Vocation Frustration quest is the only thing keeping players from the Warrior and Sorcerer classes in Dragon's Dogma 2. Here's how to complete it.

There's a wide selection of headgear to pick from, from winged sallets to sinister death masks and jewel-crusted crowns. As impressive as these may look, some players do prefer to keep their characters' faces to remain uncovered, especially those who spent hours on Dragon's Dogma 2's extensive character creator. Unfortunately, if you want your Arisen's face to be on display at all times, you're going to have to make some sacrifices.

Can You Hide Your Helmet in Dragon's Dogma 2?

The arrival of the player's Main Pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2

The short answer is no. As of writing, there's no way to hide the Arisen's or Main Pawn's helmet for cosmetic purposes. For PC players, there's a possibility that a mod that hides helmets may become available in the future, though there's no guaranteeing this. On the plus side, there are some helmets in the game that are equipped with visors, which can be raised or lowered manually in the Equipment screen.

The lack of a hide helmet function can be linked to the developers' commitment to making an immersive and natural game experience, as mentioned by director Hideaki Itsuno when asked regarding Dragon's Dogma 2's fast travel system.

Apart from visored helmets and ones that only partially cover the face, there are certain pieces of headgear that have very small footprints, leaving plenty of space for a character's face and hair to shine. Most notably, gear like circlets, crowns, masks, and eyewear all provide players with stats and other effects without totally covering a character's face. Here are some notable ones that you should look out for.

This list will be updated as we continue to discover new places, POIs, and vendors in the world of Dragon's Dogma 2 .
