7 Lustrous Targe

• Purchased from Dudley the merchant or found in a chest guarded by goblins southwest of the Volcanic Island Camp.

Players are likely to first see this shield in the wild when taking on Hobgoblins. These higher-level goblins wield this shield proudly to protect themselves, and they do have a smaller 2% chance of dropping it once they have been killed.

Players may themselves be tempted to use this shield, which can be found early in a player's adventure when they meet Dudley at Melve. While only a slight upgrade from the Shield of Vernworth, it is still a worthwhile investment for players early into the game.

6 Battahli Shield

Dragon's Aegis is a shield that players will not have access to unless they have progressed to the endgame of Dragon's Dogma 2 by pursuing the True Ending.

Once they have made it to this alternate reality of the world, players can talk to the Dragonforge and purchase this shield with incredible physical defense for 40 Wyrmslife Crystals. While, like many other shields, it falls short in slashing and striking damage, it's still a great option for a fighter looking to protect themselves.
