Dragon Quest fans can take on a new adventure with Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. They will travel through the lands as the cursed prince Psaro the Manslayer. He aims to build an army and destroy his father, the Monster King, to take over his throne.

The only way to do this is to get powerful Monsters and level them up to learn new skills and increase their stats. Players can grind through the wild areas to level up their Monsters, but there are ways to make the process faster. So, this guide has some helpful tips and tricks to help you level up quickly in DQM: The Dark Prince.

How to Level Up Fast in DQM: The Dark Prince

Players must level up their Monsters to use them to the best of their ability. Since some of the best Monsters come from synthesis or eggs and start at level one, developing a method to level them up quickly is essential to get the best Talents and Traits.

The best way to train Monsters is to explore the wild areas in Terrestria and Nadiria. There are Monsters in the overworld that attack Psaro when sighted individually or in groups. If players defeat them, all the Monsters in their main party and reserves earn a certain amount of EXP to increase their levels.

Monsters who are higher level than Psaro's give more EXP when beat. Additionally, taking on groups of three or four guarantees extra EXP. While Terrestria becomes available early in the playthrough, players must defeat certain bosses to unlock areas with high-level Monsters.

The Middle Echelons in Nadiria are the best places to start when first beefing up your Monsters. The first one, The Circle of Conquest, unlocks about halfway through the game, so players can get there quickly. Keeping an eye out for Large Monsters in the overworld is an excellent way to farm thousands of points from one battle.

Once players hit the Upper Echelons, they can take on powerful foes in almost every battle. Fighting as many high-ranking Monsters as possible is the best way to level up low-level Monsters quickly. Players will also find rarer eggs in the Upper levels.

Players can also use items like Bonus Balls to temporarily increase the amount of EXP and Gold they earn from winning wild battles. Bonus Balls can be purchased from some shops or picked up from chests around the maps. There are two in the Basement of Rosehill Tower that have Bonus Balls.
