Dragon Quest 11 S is now available for pre-order on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The definitive edition releases on December 4th, but eager fans can get payment out of the way with this pre-order opportunity. Despite adding a ton of content, it only costs $40.
Back when Dragon Quest 11 S released in 2019, it was only available to Nintendo Switch players. This served as an incentive for players to choose that platform over others, but now that exclusivity has ended. More than a year later, players will now be able to experience all that the definitive edition has to offer on any console.
Players that purchase the definitive edition will get everything included in the base game as well as a new soundtrack, character scenarios, photo mode, side quests, areas, and more. Notable additions include the 2D 16-bit mode that opens up an entirely new area and allows players to revisit quests and characters from previous Dragon Quest games.
It's worth noting that there are no pre-order bonuses or anything like that, so players that would rather wait and purchase it when it comes out don't need to feel bad about that. Likewise, there is only one version of Dragon Quest 11 S, so fans won't be faced with the difficult decision of choosing between standard, deluxe, and collector's editions.
