Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's first Boss Battle DLC is out and sees players achieve Super Saiyan God to take on Beerus. Following this DLC, there is another Boss Battle Episode that will release before a full blown story arc is said to be added to the game. Both the second Boss Battle and story arc remain a mystery, but the latest leak may shed some light on plans.

First discovered by Dmgaming 5 (sent to him by a fan), UK retailer Fanatical has seemingly leaked the DLC. It can be seen in the video below, where the site lists the various bits of DLC associated with the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Ultimate Edition. The listing includes both Boss Battle Episodes and a new inclusion: "Future Trunks Arc: HOPE!!."

This is notable for a number of reasons. First, this is a huge leap forward in Super chronology of what's been added to the game so far, but it doesn't seem like a simple mistake. Not only is there a legitimate, unique title here, but "HOPE!!" is episode 48 of Dragon Ball Super and part of the Future Trunks Arc. It's worth mentioning that, after this discovery, Fanatical removed mention from its DBZ: Kakarot listing, so it could have been a mistake but it certainly doesn't seem so (he talk about it around the 3-minute mark).

Beerus is the first DLC added to the game and is notably the first story arc related to Dragon Ball Super; Future Trunks is the fifth, after Golden Frieza, an anime-only filler saga, and Universe 6. As Dmgaming 5 points out, though, the legitimacy of this leak may come down to what happens in Boss Battle Episode 2. Golden Frieza only appears in the anime, not the manga, so depending on which is more prevalent in the developer's mind, it's possible Boss Battle Episode 2 is actually Hit. Super Saiyan Blue could still be added, as both Goku and Vegeta face Hit in this form.

If so, then this leak makes a lot more sense, although many may be upset if Golden Frieza is skipped. It remains to be seen how accurate this Fanatical leak is for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Bandai Namco is likely to remain quiet for quite some time, but it certainly would be something to see Goku face off with Goku Black and Zamasu.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
