The first episode of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's A New Power Awakens detailed the events of Dragon Ball Super's Battle of Gods Arc. So it not only allowed players to go toe-to-toe with the God of Destruction, Beerus, but to access Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan God transformation.

Since the Ressurection F Arc follows Battle of the Gods, most predict that A New Power Awaken's second episode will build itself around it. In which case, players will not only meet and take on Golden Frieza but obtain Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan transformation, more colloquially known as Super Saiyan Blue.

Waiting for the second episode to release, however, can be a bit of a challenge, especially since it doesn't have a release date at the time of this writing. Thus, a Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fan has taken it upon themselves to create a mod that allows players to go into Super Saiyan Blue right now. YouTuber DBZanto showed it in action on his YouTube channel against Beerus. However, the mods' actual creator is an individual named Saitsu.

The mod takes the place of Goku's Super Saiyan transformation, which is appropriate considering Super Saiyan Blue is just Super Saiyan energy stacked onto the Super Saiyan God form. While using the mod, the game will consider Goku's Super Saiyan God form his normal state; this way, he can transform into Blue during battle. When using techniques like the Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb, Goku will revert to Super Saiyan God. Once he finishes delivering the attack, he'll return to Super Saiyan Blue.

Vegeta works a little differently to Goku. The mod will still consider Super Saiyan God his normal state, so when players want to enter Blue, they just need to activate Super Saiyan. However, using techniques like Galick Gun, Final Flash, and other high-energy blasts won't revert Vegeta to Super Saiyan God; he'll remain Blue throughout.

When Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will truly introduce Super Saiyan Blue — or if the form will make an appearance at all — remains a mystery. Again, the prediction is that it'll arrive with episode 2, but there's no official confirmation of that. But the DLC collection is called "A New Power Awakens," so Goku and Vegeta obtaining a new transformation from each episode only makes sense. In the meantime, the mod mimics Super Saiyan Blue nicely for those who want to get their hands on it.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
