Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 1 allows players to challenge none other than Beerus, the God of Destruction himself to a fist fight. Of course, Beerus is incredibly tough, and if players want to have any hope of beating him whatsoever, it is best to wait get to max level first.

Getting to max level in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is relatively easy, especially so with the DLC adding new and more efficient ways for players to level up. That said, the process can be somewhat time consuming and repetitive, so players will need to be patient throughout the whole ordeal.

The main method of leveling up in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot involves Whis' new trainings, which players that have started the DLC should already be familiar with. Additionally, for those that don't have or don't plan on buying the DLC, there is another method involving Bonyu's training missions at the Training Room.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Level 250

Max level Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

The maximum level in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is level 250, but to get there players will need to do a little bit of set up. For starters, make sure that the training community board is completely leveled up, as this will double the amount of experience the player gains from combat. Next, the player should make sure they eat a full-course meal that grants experience, the best one being the Super Deluxe Meat Course. Combining both of these methods will ensure the player gets the most out of the time they spend grinding.

Next, there are two methods. If the player has the DLC, completing Whis' Super Level Up Trainings is by far the fastest and easiest way to hit max level. Not only will each match award the player with experience, but Whis then gives the player 10 or more Sacred Waters, items that grant a set amount of experience. Simply continue fighting the strongest incarnation of Whis' training that the player can beat, being sure to use the Sacred Waters in between each fight to make things easier. Also, the player should focus on only one character, as once they are strong enough they can easily farm Ultra Sacred Waters to level up the other character and any support characters.

Level Grinding in DBZ: Kakarot Without the DLC

Bonyu in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

For those that don't have the DLC, the best way to gain experience is to repeat the level 100 Bonyu fight in the Training Room over and over again. This gives considerably less experience than what is now available in the DLC, and will take quite some time, but it works. The same preparations should be made, however.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
