It should perhaps come as no surprise to learn that Bardock is the most important character in the Bardock - Alone Against Fate DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. However, there are several other powerful Saiyans who play an important role in the expansion episode, starting with Bardock's faithful crew.
Players are introduced to Fasha, Tora, Shugesh, and Borgos as part of the main story and can learn more about them by completing some of the seven Substories found throughout the Bardock DLC. Then there's the cocky young Prince Vegeta, who players can even unlock as a playable character a little later on.
How to Unlock Prince Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's Bardock DLC
In order to unlock Prince Vegeta as a playable character in the Bardock - Alone Against Fate DLC, players will simply need to complete the main story. After doing so, they'll get a message on the screen informing them that a new story has been unlocked. Once they regain control, they can begin Prince Vegeta's Story by examining the pillar of light opposite the entrance to the Saiyan Stomping Ground.
Sadly, Prince Vegeta's Story is relatively short, with players able to complete it in under thirty minutes. It is also very repetitive, so some may wish to farm some EXP-granting items at the newly-unlocked Tough Training Ground to speed things up a little. That said, it is pretty fun playing as a young Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and interesting to see part of the story through the cocky young prince's eyes.
Although items from the main section of the Bardock DLC carry over into Prince Vegeta's Story, players will not be able to use the character on Planet Vegeta . They can, however, unlock a new challenge at the Tough Training Ground by completing Vegeta's story arc.
All Playable Characters in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's Bardock DLC
Bardock and Prince Vegeta are the only characters that players will be able to control directly in the Bardock - Alone Against Fate DLC. However, each character has their own supporting Saiyans, with Bardock accompanied by Fasha, Tora, Shugesh, and Borgos and Vegeta once again escorted by Nappa. Only Fasha and Tora can be used as support characters though, with Shugesh and Borgos typically opting to head into combat alongside one another and Vegeta preferring to fight alone.
