Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 fans now have some cause for celebration, as a recent V Jump Ryokyuta leak has revealed some exciting information about the game's future. The big highlights of this leak come in the form of an upcoming playable character as well as an unofficial announcement of next generation potential for the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has long included Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, as a prominent character. As the leader of the Time Patrol and the one in charge of maintaining balance in the many timelines of the Dragon Ball universes, Chronoa's job is very important. That said, no one expected her to be added as a playable character.

Chronoa, although clearly powerful as a goddess, is never portrayed as being particularly capable in combat. Throughout the story of both Xenoverse games, Chronoa instead relies on Trunks, the player, and at times Goku in order to defend the Time Nest and Toki-toki.

Now it seems fans will have a chance to see just how powerful she is. The leak details that she will have two new special moves as well as two unique ultimate moves. When put through google translate, the special moves are called "Holy Ingress" and "Kyros Cannon," both of which sound pretty awesome. The Ultimate moves are also revealed, and can be loosely translated as "Galaxy Time Impact" and "God Cross Canon." These techniques will be unique to her, at least initially, and may end up being translated differently at her actual release.

Beyond this, the leak also states that Xenoverse 2 will be coming to next generation consoles. While some find this incredibly exciting, there are also those that are a little upset. Xenoverse 2 released back in 2016, and will be turning four years old this October. Though many are fond of the RPG take on the franchise, a lot of fans are ready for a Xenoverse 3. With the new information that Xenoverse 2 will be ported to next generation consoles, it seems unlikely that a sequel will happen any time soon.

Chronoa has gotten some attention in other forms of Dragon Ball media as well, such as Dragon Ball Heroes. The leak does mention that there will be some kind of power boost, which may explain how Chronoa is able to join the fight now despite declining to do so for the last four or more years. Either way, hopefully this update arrives soon and clears up any confusion about the character.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
