With the main characters of Dragon Ball achieving their most powerful forms, what could a fusion of these forms look like?

What Is The Demon Realm?

Dragon Ball Demon Realm Race

The Demon Realm has existed in the Dragon Ball multiverse since its inception. Located at the tip of the universe, it is not a part of the living world or the Other World, as it exists in its very own plain of existence, which is the exact opposite of the known universe, implying that it may just be similar in size as well. Though it doesn't have much importance in the canon Dragon Ball story, it is a central plot piece in the SuperDragon Ball Heroes timeline.

As for its culture and history, the canon of the story does not say anything about it, only that both Shula and Dabura have been dubbed as Demon Kings. In the Super Dragon Ball Heroes timeline, however, the realm is ruled over by the Demon God, Demigra. Moreover, the realm's characteristics are very unique as it is defined as a place where magic has more of an influence than science does.

Since this realm is massive and outside the domain of the Supreme Kais, they cannot see or control what happens there. This means that the Demon Realm is ruled over by their own hierarchies of power that oversee everything by themselves. This realm is first shown in Goku's battle against Shula in Dragon Ball, where he saves Princess Misa from the Demon's clutches and closes the door to the mysterious plane.

Then, in Dragon Ball Z, it was revealed that the Demon Realm not only housed its own terrifying inhabitants but also that many sorcerers and evil-doers often seek refuge there, such as what Bibidi and Babidi did. Dabura was also shown to be the Demon King who ruled over some part of this realm to some degree.

Is Dragon Ball Too Reliant On New Transformations?

One of the series' most iconic facets has now overtaken its identity. But is there a path that lies beyond new Super Saiyan forms or divine states?

Residents of the Demon Realm

There are many native races of the Demon Realm, many of whom are quite powerful enemies who are terrible to face. The most recognizable of these races are the Demons themselves, who closely resemble humans but with some noticeable differences, such as different skin colors and pointed ears. These are powerful beings, as Dabura is seen to be at the level of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. However, these Demons have 2 leadership roles; Demon King and Dark King, with the latter being the true ruler of the race.

Other than this, however, there exist many other races that reside within this realm, such as the Majins, the most famous of whom is Majin Buu. There also exist Devils, Ogres, and Demonic Namekians, which are all quite powerful in their own right. All of these races have unique character traits and abilities that are seldom found anywhere else in the series, such as the Demon's ability to use the Demonic Will ability to power up and the Majin's ability to regenerate from a molecular level.

The Demon King fears no mortal, although I admit they were stronger than I thought.

Demon Realm Energy

The main driving force that residents of this land get their power from is the elusive 'Demon Realm Energy', which is a particular type of dark energy that is exclusively used by the Demons. It works by letting them gain power only while they're in the Demon Realm by realizing a powerful and destructive form using this energy. Though it can't be used outside, some are able to work around this by formulating a specific type of energy.

During Dabura's battle with Super Saiyan 2 Gohan during the Buu Saga, an aspect of Demon Realm Energy was seen when he used Demonic Will. This is a powerful ability that lets him significantly grow in power, enough for him to contend far better against a powerful Saiyan like Gohan.
