Bandai Namco is confirming the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour, a presentation focused on current and upcoming Dragon Ball games, will be returning in 2023. This year's show will focus on Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Super Trading Game, and Dragon Ball Legends. The Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour isn't just a keynote, but has also historically featured esports content and community content like art challenges. Expect more information in December. The first Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event was hosted on March 6, 2021, and coincidentally was also focused on Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Super Trading Card Game, and Dragon Ball Legends. The 2022 show featured a much more diverse lineup of titles, including a Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 fashion show, footage for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC, and a Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle retrospective, in addition to the other three Dragon Ball games from 2021.RELATED: Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Shows First Gameplay of Bardock DLC on Planet KanassaWhile Bandai Namco isn't willing to say much beyond confirmation of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Super Trading Card Game, and Dragon Ball Legends continuing to be a focus, that should change soon. Bandai Namco will be hosting a special broadcast on December 3 at 6:00 PM ET where a full detailing of the upcoming Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour will be shared. That should include the date of the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour, which has not been confirmed yet.

As exciting as the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour may be at face value for Dragon Ball fans hoping for major announcements, that's typically not what the event is for. While there have been reveals, like last year's Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Frieza arc footage, the event's priority is celebrating currently available Dragon Ball games and their communities.

This year's event will feature a unique way of watching that Dragon Ball fans can look forward to. It's called the Dragon Ball Games Online Arena, and it's an application allowing fans to create an avatar and watch the show with other fans. Avatars include Namekians, Majins, Saiyans, Earthlings, and even a member of the Frieza Force.

In 2022, Bandai Namco elevated the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour into a much larger and more exciting event than in 2021. Dragon Ball fans should tune in on December 3 at 6:00 PM ET to see if Bandai Namco continues the trend. The 2023 show could be that much more special than years prior, packed full of fun Dragon Ball events and content.
