Bandai Namco's two biggest anime-licensed games, Dragon BallFighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, have both managed to cross an impressive sales milestone. Both games were released over half a decade ago, and they're both still going strong thanks to extensive post-launch support. FighterZ has a next-gen upgrade and rollback netcode update coming sometime in the future, while Xenoverse 2's roster of DLC characters and expansions continue to be added. Meanwhile, the latest content coming to Xenoverse 2 is focused on the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, adding a new story scenario and playable iterations of Gohan and Piccolo.The lengthy post-launch cycle for both of these Dragon Ball games has been incredibly beneficial, not only extending their longevity but also providing plenty of fans with exciting video game content revolving around the property. Both games have been brought over to multiple platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, PC, and even Switch. The previous milestone that these Dragon Ball games crossed was eight million back in 2021. Despite these games being completely different from each other, FighterZ being a competitive 2.5D traditional fighting game and Xenoverse 2 being a 3D arena fighter RPG, it still manages to appeal to Dragon Ball fans at the end of the day. Both games will be celebrating with their own in-game events.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have its own special raid quest, which will give fans the chance to earn a special "10-Million Celebration Balloon," where players are tasked with beating up several enemies. There will also be a campaign to get a special outfit, along with a login bonus to earn several TP Medals in Xenoverse 2. This campaign will be running throughout May and June, with specific dates detailed on Twitter.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be running a similar campaign, with a special series of event schedules. This includes ranked match challenges with exclusive rewards. It also announced that certain Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC characters will be free-to-play during certain weeks, with the first block of Bardock, Broly, Merged Zamasu, and Vegito Blue being the first batch. This campaign will be running from May till June as well. Both games managing to reach this incredible milestone is a testament to the property's long-lasting appeal.

Dragon BallFighterZ and Xenoverse 2 are available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
