Leaks for the next V-Jump scan confirm that Super Baby 2 will be the next Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character. He will be the second Dragon Ball GT character added to the game, and the fourth added through the Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 pass. The scans describe some of the techniques Baby will use in combat, and if the translations for them are all accurate, he may be one of the most powerful characters in the game.

For those in need of a refresher: Baby is a body-snatching villain hailing from Dragon Ball GT, and arguably one of the best things to come out of that series aside from Super Saiyan 4. He vowed revenge against the Saiyans for wiping out his entire race when they were space pirates, bringing him into conflict with Goku and Vegeta, as they're the only full-blooded Saiyans left alive in GT. Dragon Ball FighterZ uses the final form Baby takes after possessing Vegeta and transforming twice.

The translations for the Dragon Ball FighterZ V-Jump scans provide insight on some of Baby's tools: Darkness Spring Shot, Full Power Energy Wave, Revenge Death Ball, Great Ape transformation, and Z-Assist revival. Darkness Spring Shot is a Ki blast that boomerangs back if it doesn't hit the enemy. Energy Wave is a directional level one super. Revenge Death Ball is a Meteor attack, and when it connects, it turns Baby into a Golden Great Ape. Finally, the Z-Assist revival allows Baby to use the assists of his fallen allies.

Baby's Darkness Spring Shot sounds similar to the Ki Blast Master Roshi has, where players can command it to come back. It's unclear if Baby's will work the same way or be automatic, but it could be an excellent tool nonetheless. The translations for the Great Ape transformation liken the ability to Super Broly's LSS transformation, so Baby will probably only remain a Great Ape during his Meteor attack but gain a permanent boost to his damage afterward.

Baby's most notable ability is Z-Assist revival. If this is real, Baby will be the only character in the game capable of calling the assists of fallen allies. Alone, this kind of ability is already crazy, but add that to the game's Limit Break mechanics and Baby already sounds like the best anchor character in the game. A Dragon Ball FighterZ reveal trailer should launch on December 20, revealing whether or not this is true, so players don't have long to find out.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
