Not too long ago, Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment officially confirmed the release date for Dragon Ball FighterZ's first round of DLC characters, with Broly and Bardock joining the title's ranks next week. Now, the companies have sanctioned the release of two new gameplay videos that show off full matches that involve the aforementioned brawlers, with the Legendary Super Saiyan and the Father of Goku going at it.

As seen below in the Dragon Ball FighterZ gameplay videos courtesy of IGN, the first match mostly highlights the brawn of Broly, as he delivers an absolute beat down to Bardock, with the Legendary Super Saiyan eventually unleashing the full bore of his Ulitmate Blast known as the Eraser Cannon. To even things out, the second match gives Bardock the spotlight throughout, as the Father of Goku turns Super Saiyan, and then defeats Broly with the help of Vegeta.

While Broly and Bardock's forthcoming inclusion in Dragon Ball FighterZ certainly have a lot of fighting game fans excited about their arrival, there are some who may simply be ready for Arc System Works and Bandai Namco to round out the rest of the roster with all of the title's DLC. So far, neither company has intimated which other characters from the anime franchise will make an appearance in Dragon Ball FighterZ, but if the information from a recent datamine is accurate, then fans could see the likes of Zamasu, Vegito, Cooler, and Ranger Android 17 added to the game.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see just how popular Broly and Bardock become with fighting game aficionados once they are officially are added into Dragon Ball FighterZ, as their abilities could wind up making them mains for many players. Perhaps we will see the Legendary Super Saiyan and the Father of Goku as heavy favorites with pro gamers later this year during the annual eSports event of EVO 2018.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
