Another Dragon Ball FighterZ character trailer has just dropped. This time, the clip features the Universe 7 God of Destruction himself, Lord Beerus.

In true Beerus fashion, he arrives to the fight in Dragon Ball FighterZ after just waking up from a nap. Groggy or not, he wastes no time absolutely wrecking Super Saiyan Blue Goku, which is pretty much how things would play out in the anime.

In stark contrast to melee-heavy characters like Hit, Beerus has a varied repertoire of projectile attacks that is demonstrated liberally in the latest Dragon Ball FighterZ character trailer. From small ki blasts to gigantic orbs of energy, Beerus will be literally be throwing a lot at his opponents. The God of Destruction can even use these projectiles to combo from a distance, which should surprise those on the defensive. As for his super attack, Beerus uses a signature ability for Gods of Destruction: Hakai (Destruction).

Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black are the three newest characters to be announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ, and were revealed to audiences several weeks ago in an issue of V-Jump magazine. News on these fighter has been relatively absent until recently, when Bandai Namco kicked off the week with a series of character trailers, starting with Goku Black.

A few days ago, audiences glimpsed the deadly skills of the legendary assassin Hit, in a character trailer that showcased his unique time-skip ability. As mentioned above, Hit relies mostly on melee attacks, but has several ways to quickly maneuver around the stage and can utilize time-skip to harm opponents from a distance. His super attack is also one of the most stylish in the game.
