Dr. Stone’s story depends heavily on science, with its main characters set on rebuilding civilization using science and technology. Because of this, intelligence naturally appears as a common trait among the characters, whether it involves having a vast knowledge of various scientific fields like chemistry, physics, and mathematics or devising genius strategies to outsmart the opposition.

The characters use their knowledge and intellectual skills in exciting ways throughout the series, making intelligence helpful in solving problems, overcoming challenges, or advancing their individual or collective goals. These are Dr. Stone's ten most intelligent characters that excite lovers of science-based stories or anyone at all.

10 Suika

suika

Suika possesses a talent for sneaking around and spying. Though she begins as someone treated badly because of her clumsiness and nearsightedness, Suika eventually becomes a scientist under Senku's mentorship in the New Stone World Arc.

Despite her occasional misunderstanding of adult topics, her intelligence is evident in how she deduced Kinro's nearsightedness during his fight with Magma. She is also recognized as an expert in forests and animals. With her intelligence, Suika survived for years in the jungles of Brazil, using lessons from her friends.

9 Kohaku

Kohaku (Dr. Stone)

Kohaku is better known for her physical prowess and fighting skills. However, her physical strength, along with her endurance, is not the end of her talent. Kohaku possesses a unique type of intelligence.

As a descendant of modern humans, she doesn’t have the type of scientific knowledge typically expected. Still, she possesses a willingness to learn and a curiosity that improves her understanding over time. She gains knowledge quickly and applies it in situations that call for it, like when she saves Ginro with her impromptu plan.

8 Hyoga Akatsuki

hyoga

Hyoga is another character who has a lot of physical strength. He shows this when he fights off ten men. But apart from this, Hyoga also has power in his intellect. He’s a master of tactics and manipulation. With a single fight against the Ishigami village warriors, he figured out the strongest of the group.

Apart from using his intelligence to make plans and carry out successful attacks on his opponents, he also uses it to save his life, like when he deduces an attack early enough to protect himself with some makeshift armor.

7 Yuzuriha Ogawa

Yuzuriha Ogawa

Yuzuriha is more intelligent than the average person. She’s not easily fooled, as shown when she sees through Senku's lie to the Tsukasa Empire about the US army coming to help them. She also impresses others with her ability to keep up with Senku's lengthy science lectures from a young age.

Although Yuzuriha seems too reserved and easygoing to have a mind of her own, she continually disproves that opinion of her. She easily decodes Senku’s plans and actions even when others easily fall into the trap.

6 Ukyo Saionji

Ukyo Saionji

From his responsibility of gathering intel and maintaining security, it’s evident that Ukyo possesses considerable intellectual skills. Working as a wise commander of the Kingdom of Science, Ukyo prefers to avoid violence but is smart enough to know when it can’t be avoided.

While he possesses several skills, including his incredible skill at picking out sounds, shooting arrows, and speaking two languages, Ukyo also has a sharp intellect that he uses while carrying out attacks or figuring out the truth and how that factors into his goals.

5 Kaseki

kaseki

Kaseki’s intelligence shows up uniquely. As an experienced artisan and craftsman, he created many scientific tools in the Kingdom of Science. He understands how science works even though he’s an original member of the Ishigami village.

Kaseki is skilled at understanding Senku’s diagrams and bringing them to life with his craftsmanship. Some things about Kaseki are surprising, like his physical strength, even as an older man, and his self-awareness to admit when he’s wrong. Unsurprisingly, his long life has given him a lot of wisdom, which he shares with others.

4 Gen Asagiri

Dr Stone Gen Asagiri

Tsukasa Shishio de-petrified Gen because he so badly needed an intelligent person on his side. Unfortunately, Gen betrayed him and eventually joined the Kingdom of Science and became a member of the Five Wise Commanders.

That he was selected as a suitable substitute for Senku proves Gen’s intellectual prowess. He is skilled at strategy and psychology and can easily predict others’ thoughts and actions, making him a vital participant in developing action plans. He also has some craftiness, a skill that once saved his life.

3 Chrome

chrome

Chrome has possessed a deep love for science since he was young. Still, his knowledge significantly increases when Senku shows him the ropes and teaches him about humanity’s achievements before the petrification.

Chrome’s natural talent for science and invention gives him far more intelligence than the next person. He quickly understands the complicated things that Senku explains, even though they would seem too challenging or senseless for the average mind. He even created some inventions by himself, even though they were things that already existed before the petrification.

2 Byakuya Ishigami

byakuya ishigami

Byakuya Ishigami, the adoptive father of Senku, shared a surprising level of resemblance to Senku, both physically and mentally. Although he wasn’t at Senku’s level of intelligence, he was responsible for making Senku’s goal attainable.

After surviving the petrification by living in outer space as an astronaut, he created a legacy that included anticipating Senku’s return and leaving items and resources for Senku’s experiments. The coded message he left behind had lessons useful for his colleagues’ descendants. Through his actions, Byakuga showed a tremendous amount of curiosity and adaptability.

1 Senku Ishigami

Senku from Dr Stone

Senku stands out as a hyper-genius who makes protagonists on other shows appear intellectually inferior. Not only did he find a way to cure petrification, but he also invented various items, such as antibiotics and walkie-talkies. Senku's vast knowledge encompasses math and science, and he possesses excellent memory skills.

Senku can also inspire and manage others efficiently, recognizing the importance of teamwork. Tsukasa Shishio called him "the sharpest, most intelligent man in the world," and that statement holds a lot of weight in the world of Dr. Stone.
