Dr Disrespect's situation has raised a lot of eyebrows in the past. As one of the biggest streamers around, it took fans by surprise when the streamer was suddenly banned from Twitch. The official reasoning behind his removal from the streaming service was never officially stated by either party, leaving his viewers with nothing to do but speculate on the matter. However, Cody Conners, former Account Director of Strategic Partnerships at Twitch, recently made claims regarding Dr Disrespect, accusing the streamer of being involved in "sexting" with a minor on the service's "Whisper" direct messaging functionality that has since been discontinued. Conners claims that was the actual reason for Dr Disrespect's removal from the service, but provided no solid evidence beyond his word.

Dr Disrespect spoke out on his stream, explaining that he had nothing further to say regarding the allegations that had been made over the weekend. He reiterated that "I already said what I needed to say. I don’t give a f**k about this guy." It seems that the claims have taken a toll on the popular streamer, as he revealed that he had been planning on taking a vacation in the near future, and that he "might extend that" to start immediately.

It's unclear when Dr Disrespect intends to return from said vacation. He continued that he didn't know how long he would be away for, and was considering staying on vacation longer than he previously planned. In all, Dr Disrespect said he felt fatigued and burned out, and even pondered the idea of trying something new, presumably away from streaming.

The Dr Disrespect Ban Saga

Dr Disrespect was a fixture on Twitch starting back in 2015, becoming a major success on the streaming platform. That suddenly changed in 2020, when he was abruptly banned by Twitch, with no public explanation ever provided by the streaming giant. Dr Disrespect said after the fact that the banning had a personal impact on him, leading to the loss of deals and partnerships with major brands.

As for these recent claims against Dr Disrespect, the streamer has said that he couldn't comment on the matter directly due to "legal obligations" tied to the settlement Dr Disrespect received from Twitch. The streamer was notably paid for the remainder of his contract time with the streaming company despite the service terminating it early.
