A new subsidiary studio is being opened by Dontnod Entertainment, the French game developer best known for Remember Me, Life is Strange, and most recently Tell Me Why. Dontnod's primary studio will remain in Paris, while its new studio will open in Montreal, Quebec in Canada. As for the direction of the studio, it's being helmed and staffed by many of the developers behind Life is Strange. And better yet, they already have a new project in mind.

The new Dontnod studio's Studio Executive Producer will be Luc Baghadoust, who produced the Life is Strange titles. Baghadoust is joined by Michael Koch, director on the Life is Strange titles, as the studio's Creative Director. Other members of the Life is Strange team are also said to be a part of the studio. Baghadoust says that he's lived in and fell in love with Montreal since the end of Life is Strange 2. He believes that "Montreal's energy and creativity are palpable" and sees it as an honor for Dontnod to become a part of the scene.
