Poor Otto isn't getting any help from his parents financially in Dodgeball Academia. And as soon as he finds a shop, he'll likely be wondering how he's supposed to afford some of that extravagant gear. Even completionists won't immediately know how to farm up these funds.

Thankfully, there is indeed a way to consistently bring in cash during Dodgeball Academia. After a few tricks and some work, gamers will notice that they can eventually turn Otto into the richest kid on campus. It just takes some knowledge and some serious dodgeball skills.

Play In The Underground Tournament

Starting in episode six, players get access to the Underground Tournament in the sewers. This is an absolute godsend as, until this point, players have no means of farming up cash and that's one of the worst parts of the game. Gamers can play in as many battles as desired and the rewards for each fight get bigger and bigger.

it can take a few tries, but Big Tony also sells food and drinks that give players permanent attribute boosts. Buy and give them to whoever the top player is (usually Otto) and, eventually, winning this will be a piece of cake. Each series win usually leaves the player with a little more than $80 every time.

Do The Optional Fights

After learning how to throw a soft and a hard ball, players should feel confident enough to take on any fight. Use this confidence, search the minimap, and head toward any of the red fists. These are optional fights (sometimes) and they should be treated as priority battles.

Why? Well, because they give out cash, equipment, and consumable items. The experience gained by these should not be overlooked, there is about a ten level difference between players who did the side content and those who stuck to the main plot only.

Knock Out The Side Quests

Before starting, players should know that some side missions need to be done in that episode or else they go away forever. It's a hefty price to pay, maybe too hefty, but that's the way it is. These side missions, like the optional fights, have lots of money, equipment, and experience to offer.

Without getting money from these fights, Otto will be more broke than most. The green-colored crown icon represents a mandatory mission. Before getting to those, take on the blue-colored crown icons. Sometimes they are battles, sometimes that are just conversations, sometimes they are fetch quests, but the cash given by them should not be overlooked.

Dodgeball Academia was released on August 5, 2021, and is available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
