It could actually showcase the sheer size of this war and give fans a chance to experience it first hand.

It is one of the most interesting periods in the Doctor Who mythos, and many fans are clamoring to see it fully realized. It is filled with stories just waiting to be told, and a developer could run wild with the depiction of these events, It would be very different from every Doctor Who game that came before, and could serve as a fantastic darker companion piece to the more lighthearted show.
