Replying to a comment on his Instagram, Davies stated that there simply is no collaboration happening between Fortnite and Doctor Who, and the rumors are "complete myth." Many fans were hopeful to see Doctor Who cosmetics in Fortnite or perhaps a special event that would feature the iconic blue London Police Box TARDIS. However, in spite of reliable leakers and datamines revealing Doctor Who content prepared for the game, Davies' statement has shut down rumors for the time being. It is speculated that either negotiations fell through or the in-game items were prepared prior to a final agreement being reached, though the true reason for the collab not moving forward remains unknown.
